Meet the team
Meet Charlie (he/him)
Charlie is a digital advertising and fundraising strategist with over a decade of experience helping organizations grow their reach and revenue online. As founder of Hunter Digital Insights Consulting (HDIC), he works with nonprofits, small businesses, and community events to build results-driven campaigns, optimize performance, and make smarter marketing decisions.
He specializes in digital fundraising, paid media strategy, SEO, and performance analytics—helping clients turn online attention into real-world results. Whether you’re running a Giving Day campaign, launching a new product, or promoting a citywide event, Charlie brings the strategic insight and technical know-how to help you hit your goals and stay on budget.
Charlie earned his Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences from the University of North Texas, with concentrations in marketing, business, and nonprofit management. In addition to his marketing work, he has helped organize some of Denton’s most recognizable events, including 35 Denton, Thin Line Fest, and Rock Lottery. His background includes sponsorship development, budgeting, event logistics, and audience engagement—making him a versatile partner across sectors.
He’s especially passionate about helping resource-conscious teams get the most out of digital tools, including grant-funded ad campaigns, AI-assisted workflows, and accessible design strategies that improve results without increasing overhead.
When he’s not working, you’ll likely find Charlie crate-digging for records at Recycled, hanging out with his wife and fur-babies, or supporting Denton’s vibrant music and arts scene.
Meet Kiara (she/her)
Kiara is a fundraising and marketing consultant with a passion for building donor experiences that strengthen relationships and drive long-term philanthropic support. She brings more than a decade of experience in nonprofit strategy, annual giving, special events, and donor communications. Her work helps mission-driven organizations connect with supporters in ways that are authentic, impactful, and action-oriented.
She specializes in donor engagement strategies that align passion with purpose and turn supporters into long-term partners. Kiara leverages the power of storytelling to drive philanthropic support, developing donor communications, recurring giving programs, Giving Day strategies, campaign plans, and community events that grow revenue and build trust. Her approach is grounded in the belief that every touchpoint shapes the donor experience and that strategy, not chance, builds sustainable support.
She earned her Master of Science in Nonprofit Leadership from the University of Denver, with a concentration in Philanthropy and Resource Development, and holds a graduate certificate in Executive Leadership and Governance. She is also a proud University of North Texas alum, where she completed her Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences with a focus in business, marketing, and nonprofit studies.
When she’s not working, Kiara is usually exploring Downtown Denton with Charlie and their fur-babies, catching a live show, or supporting a local cause she believes in.
